Szymon Hołownialeader of the Poland 2050 movement and Speaker of the Sejm, was supposed to be on the students’ list Human Collegewhich was to be confirmed by former university employees – according to the findings of “Newsweek”.
In the “Newsweek” article we read that the then rector of Collegium Humanum, Paweł Cz., who received nearly 100 accusations, including, among others, forging diplomas and leading an organized criminal group, he boasted about having Hołownia on his student list. The author of the publication, Renata Kim, also stated that Hołownia’s grades and documents were to be entered into the university’s IT system.
The Marshal of the Sejm emphasized that not only did he not study at this university, but he also never participated in any classes or celebrations.
“I would like to inform you very clearly, firmly and once again that I did not study at the Collegium Humanum university, I am not a graduate of the Collegium Humanum university, I do not have its diploma, I have not started studies at this university, I have never made any payment to the account of this university related to payment for studies, I did not participate in any classes conducted by this university, I did not participate in any celebrations, I don’t even know where this university is located,” Szymon Hołownia said on Wednesday in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.

Szymon Hołownia about Collegium Humanum: I was considering studies
The Speaker of the Sejm explained that his only connection with the university was his consideration of studies a few years ago. However, he decided not to study after learning about the institution’s questionable reputation.
“I submitted an application for admission to studies and completed the initial formalities required for admission to studies. However, when I learned about the reputation of this university, I abandoned this idea and did not take up these studies,” he added.

Hołownia expressed his belief that the insinuations are related to the launched election campaign and are an attempt to discredit him. Referring to the allegations, he emphasized that he treated them as a serious slander and a signal that a dirty political game was beginning in Poland.
In the context of speculations regarding his alleged relationship with the university, Hołownia noted that if this information comes from an investigation, disclosing it would constitute a crime. He also expressed concerns that if state services were behind the leaks, it could mean a crisis of confidence in the ruling coalition.
She posted a statement on this matter at October Polska 2050. “Szymon Hołownia does not and has never studied at Collegium Humanum. He has also never met its authorities in an official or unofficial way. Anyone who claims otherwise is lying,” we read in the entry on X
“The only thing that connects him with this university is an application he sent a few years ago, when he was considering studies in psychology. However, he did not decide to pursue them due to information he obtained in the meantime about the university’s suspicious reputation and a change in his life plans,” we read further.

Recently, there has been much talk about the arrest of the president of Wrocław by the CBA Jacek Sutryk, who was charged with providing financial benefits. This is another of 28 people connected with the case of irregularities at Collegium Humanum (since June it has been operating under the name “Varsovia University of Business and Applied Sciences”).
Collegium Humanum, a private university in Warsaw, which offered, among others, crash courses that allowed one to obtain an MBA degree came under the microscope of investigators. The university could issue even hundreds of false diplomas, doctorates and even habilitations.
