Marco Rossi, coach of Hungary, spoke to MilanNews.it about the possibility that Szoboszlai will strengthen the Rossoneri: “Dominik has improved a lot in many aspects over the past year and I think he is close to becoming a top player. I believe that the decision I made to give him the captain’s armband in the national team can accelerate this process of maturation to make him truly a top. But he must become more of a man, less of a boy and surely this great responsibility will help him in a very short time. He is a player who has very interesting numbers: as far as assists are concerned, he is in the very first places in the company of absolute top players. But in my opinion, due to the potential and ballistic capabilities that he has, he still scores too little. He has to score more goals and I even told him that.”
Would you be ready for Milan?
“In my opinion he is ready for any team. Dominik can go to any top club today. Then of course you go there, you train with the top players, sometimes you play and sometimes you don’t play, but you grow. He’s only 22 and if he completes his maturation, in 2-3 years we could have a player in the national team for another 7-8 years who can make the difference in every game.”
