Voula Kehagia takes over as the new press representative of SYRIZA according to a new post by Stefanos Kasselakis. At the same time, the president of the party announced the candidacy of Dora Avgeri in the upcoming European elections.
It is recalled that Dora Avgeri had announced her intention to be a SYRIZA-PS candidate in the European elections through a post on her personal Facebook account.
Stefanos Kasselakis made the announcement with a video he posted on Facebook with his dog Farley at the party’s headquarters.
The president of SYRIZA thanked Dora Avgeri for representing SYRIZA so far and welcomed Voula Kehagia to her new duties.
“In the new cycle that SYRIZA is starting, Theodora Avgeri and Voula Kehagia will be at the forefront of our struggle,” he says in his post.
And he adds: “Dora Avgeri represented SYRIZA well in a difficult period for our party. As my social networking advisor, he will continue to represent me in the community, where he started.
Voula Kehagia begins a new chapter by assuming the position of Press Representative and I wish her success in the difficult task ahead of her.
The new, united, social SYRIZA is changing on the fly, expanding and embracing the entire progressive world.”
