Aris Spiliotopoulos is causing serious turmoil in and around Koumoundourou. Not so much because of his ideological starting point, but because apparently he himself leaked to the media that he is taking over as SYRIZA’s communicator.
Executives of Koumundourou accuse the former ND minister of a “personal agenda” as they believe that the leaks were aimed solely at his return to the political spotlight.
In any case, as we were told by Koumoundourou, his relationship is limited to the analysis of some focus groups of research carried out by the well-known communication analyst-analyst from the Tsipras era, Yiannis Dimakis.
Indicative, however, of the discontent that prevails at the top of SYRIZA is the majestic emptying of the former politician of Patras by Stefanos Kasselakis himself who, during his appearance on the morning of Holy Tuesday in Katerina Kainourgiou, after declaring that “I do not comment whether it is about advisors , for employees of Koumoundourou, whatever you want to say. I don’t comment on the affairs of my house” he concluded by saying that “I believe I don’t need a communicator”.
The truth is that SYRIZA’s flirtation with Aris Spiliotopoulos has been going on for years, since the Tsipras era. It is also no secret that the former ND minister still maintains close relations with some of the then very close associates of the former SYRIZA president.
Aris Spiliotopoulos’s television appearances yesterday, in which he stated that Mitsotakis succeeded in stopping the deterioration of the polls by choosing Beleri, while the latest researches in Koumoundourou’s hands show the exact opposite, caused further irritation.
Much ado about nothing I would say. After all, when you have swallowed Marantzidis, why refine Spiliotopoulos?
