SYRIZA issued a “caustic” announcement underlining what Kyriakos Mitsotakis claimed in an interview he gave to Proto Thema.
“The only thing that is certain is that the citizens of the country have nothing to expect from this sad crescendo of arrogance, lack of self-criticism and constant distortion of reality, in which Mr. Mitsotakis indulged once again”, pointed out the official opposition.

It is really shocking that in one interview Kyriakos Mitsotakis managed to tell so many lies.
The leader of the ND, speaking to protothema.gr, did not manage to formulate a single word of self-criticism about the everyday life faced by Greek society.
He kept quiet about inflation and the fact that Greece is “champion” in the whole of Europe. And of course, in order to present his predatory economic policy as a one-way street, he resorted to the nonsense of “left trees”, ignoring the fully documented proposal of SYRIZA-PS to deal with precision and profiteering.
He remained silent on the increasing incidents of violence and crime.
He distorted and unleashed cheap ironies about the country’s decline on issues of press rights and freedom.
He attempted to eliminate the attempted cover-up of the Tempe crime orchestrated by him.
As far as foreign policy is concerned, Mr. Mitsotakis tried to justify the unwarranted, stating, with complete embarrassment, that the only move he intends to make for the conversion of the Monastery of Chora into a mosque by the Turkish government is to express his displeasure with the Turkish president… As for the pre-election party that the prime minister of Albania will hold in Athens, all Mr. Mitsotakis could find to say is that he does not agree with this move, but he will not do anything about it either. .
Finally, he set his party’s threshold in the European elections to 33%, seeing the rapid decline of his party’s percentages.
