SYRIZA’s frontal attack on Adonis Georgiadis continues unabated.
“The insidious statement of Adonis Georgiadis, on the basis of which the public health system is perceived as one with the private one, essentially opens the door for the privatization of the public system with the following simple argument: since the citizen pays to the private one (which is, supposedly, part of the “unified public system”), why shouldn’t he pay in the other one as well?” they report from Koumoundourou, commenting on the minister’s recent statements.

The announcement of SYRIZA:

The insidious statement of Adonis Georgiadis, on the basis of which the public health system is perceived as one with the private, effectively opens the door for the privatization of the public system with the following simple argument: since the citizen pays to the private (which is, supposedly, part of of the “unified public system”), why not pay in the other one as well?
This is the unacknowledged intention and aim of every neoliberal. Which he tries to impose (first) ideologically with such, supposedly innocent, figures of speech. And then to proceed with the corresponding acts.
We don’t even expect Mr. Georgiadis to look for pretexts when he continues his “reforms”.
At least, with whatever dignity he has left (?), let him answer, together with Mr. Mitsotakis, the question addressed to them by the President of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance: do they have public or private insurance?”
