The meeting of the SYRIZA Statutory Committee was suspended at 11 pm on Tuesday, which will continue on Wednesday.

Stefanos Kasselakis received criticism because he did not file a text of statutory changes per article, but presented his ideas through a graph, with information from Documentonews.gr saying that he was particularly conversational and soft-spoken.

Even executives who internally support the president, expressed objections, mainly regarding the name change.
There was strong disagreement on the composition, but also on the number of members (151) that will make up the body that will replace the Central Committee. The opinion was expressed that MPs and MEPs should not have an ex officio position in this.
“If we become a government party and have more than 150 MPs what will happen?” was one of the questions raised at the meeting.
The Committee’s proposal must be submitted immediately to the Political Secretariat (which will probably meet on Thursday) and to the members of the Central Committee on Friday.
