The meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA-PS was held, which discussed the road map until the election of the new leader, while it was decided that the new representative of the party until the election of the leader will be the deputy until now, Pausanias Papageorgiou.
Pausanias Papageorgiou has served, among others, as the general secretary of Nea Genia and has participated in a number of scientific and advisory committees, international coordinating bodies and supervisory boards. After 2019, he remained a close advisor to former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on International and European Relations issues.
He is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Hamburg, Germany, and holds a master’s degree in humanities.
