The boards of directors of the two companies “AVGI SA” and “Left Media SA” come with a joint decision to the meeting of the PG of the party of Koumoundourou with a plan that foresees layoffs (about 40 in newspaper and radio), issuance of a bond loan of 3,500 .000 euros, setting up a commercial department from experienced persons and aiming to increase revenues from advertising and subscriptions.

The workers of the two media outlets remain unpaid for the second month while many of them have not received their leave allowance.

They ask to be accepted by the Political Secretariat to present their positions and declare that from “September 1st, we will claim our earnings and our labor rights by any legal means”.
