The “democratic processes” of the extraordinary conference, no matter how they are interpreted, which will ultimately lead to the election of a new president, opened another, new, front within SYRIZA.
Since Wednesday night and after the inauguration of his new offices in Tavros, Stefanos Kasselakis has reduced the method of selecting delegates to a major internal party issue, leaving tips for the updated register of members who will have the right to vote on November 2-3.
Kasselakis targets the Legalization Committee
The former president of the party tried to imply that “the infamous”, as he described it, Commission for the Legalization of Delegates may proceed to block registrants with the aim of not adequately expressing the base. This for him will have the consequence of not securing the majority of the body so that the campaign to cancel his removal and exclusion from the elections will have a positive outcome.

“This is what he did with the K.E., this is what he is announcing that he will do with the Congress if he does not like the results, leaving unprecedented and unacceptable insinuations that there will be fraud in the elections of the congressmen, by the Legalization Committee” added the same circles sharing the their concern about the actions he intends to take in order to turn the supreme body into an arena.
“Another building, another registry, another party”
He is also accused by Koumoundourou that “he even went so far as to accuse those who criticize him of being “crutches” of Mitsotakis”. “And he did this”, as they developed, “according to the statement of his manager, almost a minister of Mitsotakis, against executives and members of SYRIZA who have been fighting for years against the Mitsotakis regime and the ND”.
According to them, he is not doing all of the above because, allegedly, he is fighting for the Left, Democracy and the rights of the members and friends of SYRIZA-PS. But why does he have his IX party ready, with luxurious offices and a misleading website with the name SYRIZA”.
“The ousted president of SYRIZA-PS is now openly opposing SYRIZA, engaging in a war of attrition, mud and slander. The Ethics Committee is also divided

However, both his critics and five opposition members of the ED dispute, on the one hand, that such a thing is true and, on the other hand, that the required quorum was present at the last meeting. They invoke Article 19 and insist that the Committee is responsible for “the compliance of the members with the principles of the party”. In other words, it is exclusively a control-disciplinary and not a guiding body, nor can it judge the decisions of bodies. They even talk about the obsession and bias of other members in violation of their duties.
The Kasselakis complaint against two member organizations – “Black page”

According to an official position of the Press Office, there was a “ban imposed by a small minority on the organizations of Vrilissios and Kaisarianis members” as a result of which the members were prevented from “putting to vote the resolution they wanted”.
