Stefanos Kasselakis was found in Salamina in the late afternoon of Tuesday 1/10.
As reported by his entourage, the former president of SYRIZA received a warm welcome from dozens of SYRIZA executives from Piraeus.
Among others, alongside St. Kasselaki was the member of parliament for Piraeus II, Nina Kasimati.
The same sources reported that there were exhortations from residents “to build the party”, with St. Kasselakis to answer “all together we will build the country”.
According to associates of Mr. Kasselakis, an elderly lady also mentioned that “the only power is my vote. I don’t know if I will live to vote for you again.”
“You will live and together we will build the party. The only strength I have is you,” the American-born politician reportedly responded.
Before mingling with the public, Stefanos Kasselakis also met with the Mayor of Salamina, Giorgos Panagopoulos.
