“SYRIZA is too cruel to die” says Kasselakis – No question of a Central Committee – 2024-02-22 06:25:57

The meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA is in progress, in the presence of Stefanos Kasselakis.

The SYRIZA president visited the farmers’ blocks and then took the metro to Monastiraki and walked to the party’s offices in Koumoundourou.

In his statements on television channels, he denied a report which claimed that he went to the gathering of farmers separately from his executives and deputies.

“I am reading the First Issue: Stefanos Kasselakis separates from the SYRIZA MPs in the Constitution. He got on the tractors” he said and added:

“How much of a lie can that be, apart from the SYRIZA MPs when I was there with them. Finally, this propaganda against SYRIZA should end from all media. SYRIZA is too tough to die and you will see that very soon.”

There is no question of a Central Committee

“A central committee is not on the table,” Olga Gerovasili told journalists and emphasized that the issue of today’s Political Secretariat is the questionnaire.

Many in Koumoundourou, in the event of the convening of the Central Committee, considered it possible that an effort would be made to find 151 signatures, in order to file a motion of censure against Stefanos Kasselakis. This script no longer exists.

From the side of the president of SYRIZA, they say that the goal is unity and to lower the tone so that a substantial conference can take place.
