“Panhellenic people know how “superior” the Minister of Health is in general, Ad. Georgiadis. Above criticism, above protests, above problems, even above the public health system which treats it as an ‘opportunity for business'”, notes SYRIZA in a statement.
As the official opposition reports:
He has now declared that he is above wiretapping…
However, for a Minister to know that he is repeatedly the target of surveillance (11 in number…) and to boldly declare that “not even his ear sweated”, not to take legal action, not to condemn institutionally, not to inform the Prosecutor’s Office, he seems to be pushing even his own limits.
Unless he knows who has targeted him with the illegal software, as well as the reasons for doing so, considering it reasonable and also legitimate to have his “performance” thoroughly checked by the superior authority…
Only this reason would “explain” such legal and institutional discredit on his part.
However, as the lawyer Zacharias Kesses wrote in in.gr, “the omission of Mr. Georgiadis to appeal to the Prosecutor’s Office to report the multiple interception of his phone and to investigate any leakage of State secrets constitutes, based on his position, not only unethical but also criminally verifiable behavior”.
Mr. Georgiadis must realize that he is subject to the Constitution and the laws and not … to the superior authority that was monitoring him for its own reasons!
