And yesterday, Voula Kehagia described the measures as “incomplete” and added: “From the very beginning, SYRIZA PS has responsibly requested the establishment of a mechanism to monitor and prevent excess profits in the electricity markets as well as a mechanism to ensure that the profit margin of energy providers will not exceed 5%”.

In practice, the vast majority of consumers will be faced with inflated bills, while the “games” of the energy companies with the wholesale price and with the labyrinthine fluctuations of the famous blue, green and yellow tariffs continue.
It is proven once again that the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis is deliberately indifferent to the accuracy that is bothering citizens everywhere: in supermarkets, in grocery stores (the increases in fruits and vegetables are indicative), in coastal ferry tickets, in electricity. It is her right to believe that the “summer rastoni” will overshadow her inactivity, but let’s not forget that the accumulated resentment will erupt at some point. And mercies will not be enough to stop her…”
