“The unprecedented diversion of Mitsotakis in the Parliament to attack in the most unseemly way against the president of K.O. Nikos Pappas, thus insulting and discrediting the party of the Official Opposition”, condemned SYRIZA in a statement.
From Koumoundourou, it was reported that “the prime minister of direct assignments, scandals and the violation of every concept of the Rule of Law exceeded himself today, unrepentantly violating the institutional order”.
The reports made by the official opposition party were caused by the departure of Mr. Mitsotakis while he was the president of KO.
With the same announcement, they called on “the progressive parties of the Opposition to rise to the occasion and condemn the insult of Mitsotakis”, as “his attitude does not concern only SYRIZA-PS”.
As it was underlined “the discrediting of the parties by the prime minister is directly related to the elementary rules of the Republic”.
SYRIZA’s announcement was preceded by the reaction of Nikos Pappas himself, who in his rejoinder described the prime minister as a coward and guilty, arguing that his attitude is a stigma for the New Democracy.
