Geological expert Tony Nemer tweeted through his Twitter account, noting that “two earthquakes occurred today in the Syrian Sea with a magnitude of 4.1 and 4.2, affecting one of the four geological structures in the eastern Mediterranean.”
He added, “The more the earthquakes’ focal points are dispersed on these structures, the less the impact of the transmission of ground pressures as a result of the February 6 earthquakes, and this is what is happening, which is a good thing.”
