Later, state media quoted a Damascus military official as saying; “The Israeli enemy is carrying out air strikes from the southeast of Beirut.”

Although the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) rarely confirms such operations, the IDF acknowledges that missile debris from the Syrian defense system was found in Israel. The IDF told residents the debris would be collected by authorities and urged them not to touch the shrapnel.
