The Artists Syndicate and the Ministry of Culture in Syria mourned the artist Faeq Irksousi, who passed away, Sunday, at the age of sixty-nine.
According to the “SANA” agency, the late artist Faeq Irksousi was born in Damascus Governorate in 1954, and he was known in the artistic community for his distinguished roles, especially in the theater, and he achieved great success while studying at the Institute of Dramatic Arts in Cairo, which he joined, and formed the gateway through which he crossed to professionalism. In the artistic field and his first step towards the world of art.
Irksousi presented many Syrian and Arab drama series, as well as many theatrical works, and his talent was widely known at the level of Syria and the Arab world, and was reflected in his many roles that he presented through the small screen and theaters.
Iraksoussi presented many TV series that were popular and successful, and some of them became the memory of the Syrian TV series, and among the most important of these works are The Imam, A Woman from Ashes, Zero Hour, Asmahan, Lawrence of Arabia, Al-Zahir Baybars, Ayyash, Killing the Spring, Flashes of Our History, and Holako. , Bayazid and departure to the other side.
