Syndicate of Gas Station Owners in Lebanon Addresses Gasoline Crisis and Prices Amidst Global Events

Secretary of the Syndicate of Gas Station Owners in Lebanon, Hassan Jaafar, pointed out that “what happened at the border led to a rush to supermarkets and gas stations,” stressing, “There is no gasoline crisis, and our stock is sufficient for twenty days.”

He added in an interview with “Voice of Lebanon”, “The events in Gaza led to an increase in the price of a barrel of oil globally, and we will witness a decline in the price of a can of gasoline on Friday if the price of a barrel of global oil does not rise.”

He also pointed out, “We have not reached the stage of storing gasoline in homes, and we hope not to reach this stage.”
