With the outbreak of the Coronavirus, many may not be aware that they are already infected and can have immunity to the infection for up to five months.
Signs of infection with COVID-19 ranged from coughing to more unusual symptoms like loss of taste. Experts now believe that having any of these 10 symptoms may indicate that you were previously infected without realizing it, so what are the symptoms?
Suffering from any of these 10 symptoms may indicate that you are already infected, according to the British newspaper “express”.
Studies have indicated that those who contract COVID-19 may have up to five months of immunity.
Health experts advise the importance of knowing whether or not you have COVID-19 infection to ensure your immunity.
Many people do not show signs of the virus, but then go on to develop the main signs.
Professor Susan Hopkins, Britain’s chief medical advisor, warned: “We now know that most of those who have contracted the virus, and have developed antibodies, are protected from reinfection, but this is not completely, and we do not yet know how long protection will continue decisively. People may still be able to transmit the virus, that is to say, even if you think you already have the disease and are protected, you can rest assured that you are unlikely to get a severe infection, but there is still a risk that you will become infected and pass on to others. ”
Susan Hopkins has compiled a list of signs that indicate that you may have COVID-19 and may be immune as a result.
Possible signs that you may have a COVID infection include:
Memory loss and brain fog.
Tongue Covid.
stomachache.
Eye infections.
fatigue.
difficulty breathing.
Hair loss.
Anxiety and restlessness.
Hearing loss and tinnitus.
Dizziness.
Having difficulty concentrating and remembering details is a common complaint of those who have contracted COVID-19 and did not realize it.
Andrew Gwen said his memory was “shattered,” and he explained that he began to feel “upset and exhausted” in March, and continued to show symptoms of COVID-19, and his initial illness lasted for 12 days although he still feels the effects to this day.
He added: “My condition is not as severe as it was only a few months ago. There were real improvements. During the first seven months or so, fatigue returned again and again to the point that doing simple tasks at home made me sweat tremendously as if I was running the London Marathon. I got hurt.” With so many dizzy spells, I’ve never gotten dizzy before, and brain fog – in a job where you have to be so intense, my short-term memory is shattered, I had to learn to walk by myself. “
What is the tongue of Covid
One of the “less common” warning signs of Covid may be developing in the mouth, according to Professor Tim Spector, who runs the ZOE Covid Symptom Study app.
He said about 20 per cent of all patients show signs that are not on the British government’s official list of coronavirus symptoms.
He added that any new rashes or mouth sores may be caused by COVID-19, but Spector also warned that some patients may develop “Covid tongues”.
