Johnny’s nose is broken, but Sylvie Vartan’s head goes through the windshield.

She is totally disfigured, and must undergo a heavy cosmetic surgery operation. The surgeons of the time did a remarkable job, barely noticeable. The singer returned to this subject on RTL at the microphone of Karine Le Marchand: “Honestly, I recognized myself. I wasn’t that badly banged up. Well, I had scars, yes, but it was normal. Over time, they have faded a bit. But I was so happy to be alive, because I had a child, I had people who loved me, and that was the priority above all. It was to be alive”.

Fortunately, this accident did not prevent her from being the most beautiful to go dancing! Two years earlier, the singer had already had another car accident, where her best friend Mercedes had tragically lost her life. In both cases, the seat belt was not yet compulsory.
