Actor Sylvester Stallone pointed out that the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, is “the second George Washington (1732-1799)” during a gala dinner in which he shared with the former Republican president and the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, in Palm Beach (Florida).
At the gala, which took place on Thursday night at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s residence, the actor shared with both conservatives during a conservative forum that ends this Saturday and that served to celebrate the Republican’s victory from the past. November 5.
Stallone, who served as master of ceremonies, compared Trump to George Washington, the first American president (1789-1797) and one of the founding fathers of the Nation.
“When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea he was going to change the world. Because without it, one could imagine what the world would be like.Stallone said.
“Guess what, we have the second George Washington. “Congratulations!” said the ‘Rocky’ actor during a gala for the America First Policy Institute.
For his part, the Republican, in his first post-election speech, praised his candidates to chair the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and the Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, who were also present at the evening.
This year Stallone left California to move to South Florida with his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone. (YO)
