CONAKRY– The national Syli of Guinea officially received the national tricolor this Friday, December 29, 2023 from the Head of State. It is at the Special Forces Headquarters (HQ) in Kalako in the Forécariah prefecture that the team led by the coach Kaba Diawara and his deputy under the leadership of the Minister of Youth and Sports, the flag ceremony was held.
Colonel Mamady Doumbouya motivated the players and urged them to have a mental steel in order to have a brilliant run during this African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The team leaves Conakry in the afternoon of this Saturday for Dubai where it will do its training and will play a friendly match against Nigeria on January 8 before then going to Ivory Coast for the CAN.
