CONAKRY- Guinean coach Kaba Diawara has just made public the list of 23 players who will face Malawi next September for the last day of the CAN 2023 qualifiers. On this list, we note the absence of captain Naby Keita, injured with his new club Werder Bremen in Germany. Just like Mady Camara yet in good shape with Olympiakos in Greece, who seems to be definitively put aside by Kaba Diawara.
Goalkeeper Moussa Camara of Horoya AC and defender of Hafia FC Mohamed Chérif Camara are the two players playing in the Guinean championship to be called up. Madiou Keïta from Auxerre, who was with the U-23s at the last CAN in Morocco, is celebrating his first call-up to the A. It should be noted that the team will train in Conakry from September 4 to 7 before joining the Malawi. Moriba Kourouma, who is not in competition, is still called up by the Guinean coach.
