CONAKRY- As the rumor of a probable Syli national forfeit for the last day of the CAN 2023 qualifying window gained ground, a breakthrough was finally achieved. If the mission order was not yet signed by Prime Minister Doctor Bernard Goumou to release the funds for the department of Guinea, it is now done. The Syli will therefore indeed go to Malawi where he will play this Saturday at 1 p.m. Everything is already OK and a special flight will be chartered for the Guinean delegation which will go to Lilongwe.

The players carried out their second training session this Wednesday at the General Lansana Conté stadium in Conakry in front of their many supporters. The team will be this Thursday at 10 a.m. at the September 28 stadium for its last session before flying off towards Malawi in the evening. It is now up to the players to do their job on the pitch by seeking victory in Malawi to finish these qualifiers in style.
