The next panel guest has been chosen! At the 33rd event in the SPORT TALK discussion series, Matthias Klopfer and Prof. Dr. Paul-Stefan Roß and Sybille Hiller took their place on the podium. Sybille Hiller has been a member of the Presidium of the Swabian Gymnastics Association since 2012 – initially as a member for special tasks, now as Vice President of Personnel Development and Equality. She has her sporting roots at TGV Roßwälden, where she has been and is currently active in various volunteer positions for decades. The qualified administrative economist found her first professional position in the auditing office in Esslingen in the early 1980s. Eight years later, she moved to the administration of the state capital Stuttgart, where until her retirement in the summer of 2023 she worked as a department head, mainly responsible for the administration and operation of the sports facilities in the NeckarPark (SCHARRena, Molly-Schauffele-Halle, Festwiese Stadium) and at the Waldau ( GAZi Stadium, Eiswelt Stuttgart) was responsible; In recent years she has also been deputy head of the department. She volunteers in the state church and sport working group. On her initiative, the Stuttgart Christmas singing has been taking place in the GAZi Stadium on Waldau during Advent since 2019.
At SPORT TALK 33, the SportRegion Stuttgart is working together with the Dialogue Forum for Churches in the Stuttgart Region and the Church and Sport Working Group in Württemberg. In Esslingen on February 22, 2024 the focus will be on “Volunteering in Church and Sport”. Under the motto “Commitment, voluntary work, volunteering – who will do the work in church and sport in the future?” Representatives of church and sport will discuss in the Old Town Hall in Esslingen. After the talk session, listeners have the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
