SXSW Film Festival 2021 publishes list of jury winners and special prizes

The 2021 SXSW Film Festival marks the celebration of some of the best films of the year. It means South By Southwest. This year, the festival runs practically from March 16 to 21. The SXSW Film Festival celebrates brutal advancement and growing ability both behind and in front of the camera.

This festival not only appreciates cinema across the world, but also praises music from different industries. The Film Festival will present a new work every two hours from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm CT during SXSW Online 2021. The screening categories that will take place are:

Here are all the winners of the given category. These films will set foot on the biggest platforms

  • Narrative feature film competition

The Fallout is directed by Megan Park. It’s the story of a high school girl who feels emotionally distant and lost in society. He portrays the journey of his life alone

  • Documentary feature film competition

Lily Topples the World is from director Jeremy Workman. He seems to show an online life that Climb above virality and touch something Deeper. It depicts a beautifully rendering representation of booming adulthood falling forward like Lily’s domino Arts and crafts, into something beautiful.

Play It Safe is directed by Mitch Kalisa. He talks about diversity in a very unique way.

SXSW 2021 Film Festival publishes its list of winners for

Águilas is directed by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan and Maite Zubiaurre. Shows the journey of an immigrant coming to America.

The Moogai is directed by Jon Bell. Talk about depression in the most haunted, darkest, and most gripped way. Sub-categorized into psychological thriller genre.

Nuevo Rico’s director Kristian Mercado portrays a dystopian tragedy with a mixture of friendship and fame.

  • Virtual cinema competition

Samsara director Huang Hsin-Chien wonders about an existential crisis. Focused on this theme, he worked on the film. The virtual representation of man as a machine in the world of macro-organisms is exceptional.
