13:05 OA Sport thanks you for following the emotions of this race with us and wishes you a good continuation of the day.

13:04 This competition format continues to hardly convince both athletes, professionals and enthusiasts. It was not a great choice to place the Team Event on Friday, when important races such as slalom and giant slalom were still missing, placing the team competition at the end of the program probably the athletes would have felt more free to take risks and attack and they would compete with a different spirit.

13:02 This is the final podium: 1.Switzerland, 2.Austria, 3.Germany. Italy closed in seventh position with a performance, objectively, well below expectations. Germany proved to be a compact formation and not easy to beat, but the regret is mainly due to the attitude of the Azzurri, who in fact have never been in the race for the next round.

13:01 Prediction respected, probably on the eve no one would have bet on a young team like the Swiss one but, since the quarter-finals it was seen how today the Swiss had an extra gear.

13:00 Janutin closes in 22’21 and gives first place to Switzerland!

12:59 Feurstein must win in 21 ”93 and give at least three cents to Janutin, the Austrian needs a small business.

12:58 Ellenberger mockery for three cents Troops!

12:58 Troops challenge Ellenberger, it should be a balanced clash.

12:57 Simonet unplayable, the Swiss closes in 21 ”96. Livio clearly the best of the day.

12:57 Now it’s up to Brennsteiner-Simonet.

12:56 As expected, Haaser wins without any particular problems, 23 ”25 for her.

12:55 The final opens with Haaser-Darbellay, Austria cannot afford to lose this challenge which, on paper, is the most affordable.

12:53 Excellent team performance for the Germans who, despite the non-competitive Kermer, all expressed themselves at the highest levels.

12:52 Great heat for Gratz, Germany conquers the third step of the podium!

12:51 Nestvold-Haugen must win in 22 ”48, it will not be easy to overtake Gratz.

12:50 Lena Duerr continues to show all her class: 22 ”91 for the German.

12:49 Duerr favorite part against Tviberg.

12:48 Rauchfuss brings the situation back in equality, everything will be decided with the last two challenges.

12:47 Second challenge between Solheim and Rauchfuss.

12:46 Crushing victory in 22 ”89 for Stjernesund, three descents and zero points for Kermer.

12:44 Kermer sfida Stjernesund!

12:41 We would probably never have said it on the eve, because it is not present here with the starting lineup, but the track so far has shown that Switzerland has at least one more gear than all the other formations, all best times so far have been scored by Swiss athletes.

12:39 Germany and Norveggia will play the third step of the podium, in the final it will be a clash between Austria and Switzerland.

12:37 Janutin prints an excellent 22 ”10 and flies to the final. As far as we can see, Switzerland is the big favorite for the win.

12:36 Rauchfuss has to overtake Janutin to send Germany to the final.

12:36 All easy for the Swiss, Kermer is still very unripe.

12:35 Ellenberger big favorite against Kermer.

12:34 Simonet’s absurd heats, with 21 “95 he is the first to go under the 22” wall. An excellent 22 ”01 in Gratz is not enough.

12:33 Partit Gratz e Simonet.

12:32 Lena Duerr confirms that she is a great specialist in this form of competition and wins in 23 ”07.

12:31 Duerr and Darbellay open the second semifinal.

12.30 Feurstein makes no mistake and sends Austria straight to the final! Norway will play the third step of the podium.

12:29 Nestvold-Haugen has to win and has to be faster than 22 ”44.

12:29 Not a good troops test, Stjernesund leaves hopes open for Norway.

12:28 Stjernesund can’t be wrong, Troops slightly favored.

12:28 Second point for Austria, outside Solheim. Norway is one step away from the final for third-fourth place.

12:27 Tocca and Brennsteiner-Solheim.

12:26 Tviberg wastes a huge advantage and loses the point, Haaser closes in 23 ”14.

12:25 The first semifinal opens with Tviberg-Haaser.

12:24 There is regret for the elimination of Italy which, on paper, presented a more competitive roster than the German one. Unfortunately, even at the time trial level, our athletes have shown that they have not found the feeling with this snow. Probably the Italians have not even forced to the maximum, we remind you that the technical competitions in which all four athletes engaged today will start with ambitions are still missing.

12:22 This is the picture of the semifinals: Austria-Norway and Germany-Switzerland.

12:20 Janutin also wins against Philip: 4 to 0 for the Swiss team!

12:18 Ellenberger overtakes Smart, Switzerland flies to the semifinals with an early descent.

12:17 22 ”16 for Simonet, Switzerland, despite being present in this match with all the reserves, is likely to go to the semifinals.

12:17 Read and Simonet ready to leave.

12:16 First surprise point for Switzerland, the blue track at the end seems faster.

12:16 Mielzynski and Darbellay open the match between Canada and Switzerland.

12:16 There is regret, but as far as we have seen, none of the four blue components was able to express themselves at their best on this snow and on this track.

12:16 Nothing to do: 22 ”02 for Gratz, Italy eliminated.

12:15 De Aliprandini will have to win with a time of 22 ”44 and will have to anticipate Gratz by seven cents.

12:15 Unfortunately Lena Duerr anticipates Bassino by only seven cents.

12:15 Bassino will have to face Duerr.

12:14 22 ”51 for Rauchfuss, a situation of equilibrium when there are two clashes missing.

12:13 It’s up to Borsotti-Rauchfuss.

12:12 Disaster at the start for the German, Brignone wins with a 23 ”78 far from satisfactory, but the important thing was to bring the point home!

12:11 Brignone challenges Kermer in the first duel.

12:11 IT’S IT’S UP TO ITALY!

12:10 Augenot wins but it is not enough, the sum of the times rewards Norway: 44 “98 against 45” 06.

12:09 It’s all in the hands of Augenot and Solheim.

12:09 Stjernesund wins with a great time trial: 22 ”61. France with its back to the wall.

12:08 It’s up to Direz and Stjernesund.

12:07 Small stumbling block for the French, the second challenge goes to Nestvold-Haugen, equal situation.

12:06 Favrot and Nestvold-Haugen al via.

12:05 Crushing victory for Frasse Sombet, 22 ”90 for the transalpine.

12:05 Frasse Sombet-Tviberg opens the match between France and Norway.

12:04 Feurstein overtakes Cater, adding the times of the best man and the best woman Austria wins: 45 ”09 against 45” 22.

12:04 22 ”77 for Robnik. Now Austria will be forced to win the last challenge, in case of a tie, the time of the best man would add up with the time of the best woman.

12:03 Truppe e Robnik partite!

12:03 Brennsteiner brings Austria back in a draw, at the moment both points have been obtained on the blue track.

12:02 Brennsteiner and Kranjec ready at the starting gate.

12:01 First point to Slovenia, Slokar closes in 22 “86, against Haaser’s 22” 96.

12:00 Let’s go, first match between Slokar and Haaser!

11:59 am The climate is not the best, it is very hot and the snow has been largely salty. These conditions are usually not very popular with Italian athletes, but today it will be all to see.

11:56 The first direct clash will be the one between Austria and Slovenia, the challenge between Italy and Germany will be the third.

11:53 In the event of passing the round to the semifinals, Italy would find itself challenging one between Canada and Switzerland.

11:50 The blues will have to face the quarterfinals against solid Germany, represented by Lena Duerr, Antonia Kermer, Fabian Gratz e Julian Rauchfuss.

11:47 Italy will rely on a solid and well-established quartet: Marta Bassino, who is the reigning world champion of the parallel, Federica Brignone, fresh winner of the Super-G World Cup, Giovanni Borsotti and Luca De Aliprandini. Elena Curtoni will be the reserve.

11:44 There will be eight teams at the start, each formation will be composed of two women and two men, who will always clash taking into account the sex (men against men, women against women).

11:41 The team event, just like the parallel, is a discipline that has been included in the racing program for some years now, but which according to many fans does not deserve the space it has, certainly it cannot be denied that it is about a race that is always quite spectacular.

11:38 The 2021-2022 World Cup finals are now coming to an end, after the fast disciplines, but before the technical ones, it will be the team test.
