Mobilezone did not disappoint investors last year. It managed to generate a net profit of 44.4 million francs, up 12.3% compared to 2018. The Zurich group surprised well the consensus AWP analysts, who expected 43.5 million.
Same scenario for the operating result (Ebit) which rose 13.5% to 59.6 million, while the consensus expected 58.6 million, said Friday the operator of Zurich telecommunications stores.
However, at 1.32 billion francs, a jump of 10.7% compared to 2018, the turnover came out slightly lower than expected by analysts (1.42 billion).
Dividend unchanged
The board of directors proposes to pay an unchanged dividend compared to 2018 of 0.60 francs per share.
For the next three years, Mobilezone’s main objective is to increase the operating margin (Ebit) by 0.2% on average annually, or from 4.5% currently to 5.1% over time.
In 2020 the management plans a fiscal year almost identical to that of 2019 with an operating result (Ebit) of between 56 and 61 million francs. (ats / nxp)
