SERRAVALLE, iNews.id – The list of countries qualifying for the 2022 World Cup has increased to 11. Switzerland and England are ready for action in Qatar.
England got a ticket for the 2022 World Cup after a 10-0 win over San Marino on the last matchday of Group I of the European Zone Qualification, Tuesday (16/11/2021) early morning WIB.
The result made The Three Lions finish as the top standings in Group I armed with 26 results from 10 matches.
Meanwhile, Switzerland flew to Qatar after crushing Bulgaria’s resistance with a striking 4-0 score in Group C. The team nicknamed La Nati qualified for topping the standings with 18 points from eight matches.
Meanwhile, Italy, who was held to a 0-0 draw with Northern Ireland, had to settle for runner-up after packing 16 points. The Euro 2020 champion had to go through the playoff phase with another giant, Portugal.
