The Cupertin company now claims that requiring a common charging connector will prevent innovation. However, the European Union does not think so.
Anna Cavazzini, MEP and Chair of the Consumer Protection Committee, said in a recent interview that the EU proposal leaves the door open for the possible adoption of another charging standardif better technologies emerge in the future.
