Switch Pro production could start in March … for summer launch

The Switch Lite has played its part in boosting sales of Nintendo holiday home systems since its launch last September. But Big N hasn’t finished rolling out its strategy. Recurring and quite old rumors want a new Switch to be in preparation.

According to the Asian daily Digitimes, very connected to Chinese production chains, but whose history of revelations contains beautiful failures, Nintendo should start the production in large volumes of its new hybrid console at the end of the first quarter of this year 2020.
The goal would be to have enough products ready for marketing by the middle of the year. This Switch (Pro?) Could therefore be officially announced during E3 (or even upstream), and land for the summer.

One thing is certain, the heart of the future Switch is a priori ready. Nvidia has indeed introduced the Tegra X1 + with its new generation of Shield tv. This chip is an evolution of the Tegra X1, of which a customized version is embedded in the first Switch. It would seem logical that Nvidia and Nintendo combine their efforts again.

The Tegra X1 + has a lower consumption for it, which could lead to better autonomy for the future Switch. It is also given by Nvidia to be 25% more efficient than the X1. What display more beautiful and more fluid games, while reducing loading times? We want to believe it!
