The venture competition aims to promote Switzerland’s innovative strength by supporting start-ups from a wide variety of industries and providing them with important resources. This year, in addition to business start-ups, non-profit organizations were also recognized for the first time in five categories.
Clever Forever Education AG was the only young company in Eastern Switzerland to make it onto the podium among business start-ups. The EdTech start-up from St.Gallen took second place in the Retail & Services category. Clever Forever is developing a math and literacy app for preschoolers that uses AI to create interactive educational games.
Clever Forever is convinced that digital learning will increasingly be part of education in the future and will support the education of our children. Clever Forever works with experts from the fields of education, e-learning and audiovisual design.
The start-up was founded by Olga Ruf Fiedler (CEO) and Sebastian Hähnel (CTO). Ruf Fiedler received his doctorate in mathematics from the Humboldt University in Berlin. She is a successful business woman with an excellent track record of starting and growing new businesses. In her career to date, as CEO, she has built two companies from the ground up for large multinationals in the financial services industry.
Sebastian Hähnel impresses with his many years of experience, which he gained at IBM Silicon Valley Labs and in the Swiss financial industry. His specialties are software engineering, software architecture and passing knowledge to the next generation.
