Several cities in line to host the 37th edition
On November 17, the defender Emirates Team New Zealand, winner of the 36th Cup match in March 2021 in Auckland against the Italians of Luna Rossa, and the benchmark challenger Ineos Britannia, unveiled the protocol for the next Cup which will take place in 2024. They notably confirmed the maintenance of the AC 75 (flying monohull) in version 2 as well as the tightening of the nationality rule for crews. The venue and schedule of the Match, however, will not be revealed until the end of March, the names of several host cities having been mentioned in addition to Auckland: Cork in Ireland, Valencia and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
