Neuchâtel, 01.31.2024 – After correcting for the effect of working days and public holidays, retail turnover in Switzerland increased by 0.1% in nominal terms in December 2023 compared to December 2022. Seasonally adjusted, nominal retail turnover decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month. Over the whole of 2023 they decreased by 0.1% (–2.0% in real terms). These are some provisional results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
