The Swiss National Council rejected an initiative to re-export its weapons to countries involved in military conflicts. This also applies to Ukraine. This was reported by the Swiss Telegraph Agency.

The agency explains that this initiative was aimed at the general regulation of Swiss arms re-exports. The project assumes the possibility of supplying weapons to a country that is involved in the conflict. But only if in this way, in accordance with the norms of public international law, it exercises the right to self-defense.

Earlier in Switzerland they calculated the blow to the European economy caused by Ukraine. This has led to increased inflation in Europe, and such negative consequences for the region will only intensify in the medium and long term.
