Requested by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the University Hospital of Zurich plans to accommodate “up to 100” wounded from the war in Ukraine, regardless of their origin, their belief or the degree of suffering suffered, specifies the director of the establishment, Gregor Zünd: “Humans are humans”, he declared to the NZZ Wednesday. The institution also stresses that it is counting on other hospitals in Switzerland, if it is necessary to transfer patients elsewhere.
