By creating new channels and renaming existing ones, we are taking an important step in this direction, ”explains Adrian Arnold, Head of Corporate Communications at the SFV. “In addition, we are focusing on equal rights with the realignment: the women’s national teams with the A-team as the flagship of national women’s football will also have their own platform, as will the U-21s including the other junior national teams. With TikTok we also reach a relatively younger audience. “
In addition to the existing Facebook and Instagram accounts for women’s football (Swiss Women’s Football), related Accounts launched: on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, the SFV will in future provide information on projects, relevant information for the public, the clubs, referees, players and partners in pictures, videos and text. Grassroots and children’s football will also have a larger, contemporary stage.
In addition, the Swiss Cup will be integrated into these channels. Social media news about futsal and beach soccer can also be found on the association’s own channels. “With this concentration, people, teams and topics that may have been less in the limelight will also get a platform that they deserve,” says Adrian Arnold before the relaunch.
