The lights are on again at 12 Kosjatinska Street. The Swiss embassy directly behind the Kiev landmark, the 62-meter-high statue of Motherland, has been open again for a week. The flag flies on the pole. “She always did, even when we were away,” says Ambassador Claude Wild. The Swiss were gone for almost three months.
