Swiss Cyber ​​Storm 2022 tackles digital identities

The Swiss Cyber ​​Storm is taking place for the 12th time this year. The motto of this year’s conference for IT security is “Digital Identities and How to Secure Them”, as the organizers announce.

As usual, the audience can expect a mix of national and international security specialists on stage. The organizing committee has already revealed five names:

  • Brandon Valeriano, senior fellow at the US think tank Cato Institute and at Marine Corps University,

  • Jaya Baloo, CISO at antivirus specialist Avast and member of the advisory committees of the Dutch National Cybersecurity Center,

  • Dave Lewis, Global Advisory CISO von Cisco,

  • Ana Ferreira, researcher in the field of information security at the Portuguese Research Center for Health Technologies and Services CINTESIS,

  • Eduard Blenkers, forensics expert and security specialist in IT for the canton of Aargau and lecturer at the Bern University of Applied Sciences.

Additional speakers and the full conference program will be published in the coming months. The Swiss Cyber ​​Storm Conference will take place on October 25, 2022 in the Kursaal Bern. Tickets can still be purchased at the early bird price until the end of May https://pretix.eu/scs/2022/.

Last year’s conference focused on “Securing the Supply Chain”. Possible cyber attacks on AR and VR applications and Apple’s controversial technology against child pornography were also discussed, as you can read here.
