The Zurich Children’s Book Prize was awarded on Saturday to Zurich graphic designer and illustrator Nando von Arb for his graphic novel “3 Väter”, on the occasion of the 42nd Literary Days of Solothurn. This prize, presented for the first time, is endowed with 10,000 francs.
Nando Von Arb’s book tells the story from the point of view of little Nando who grew up in an unstable blended family and found three formative father figures in his mother’s three different companions.

This new prize, awarded each year, rewards exceptional individual work in literature for children and young people. Due to the coronavirus crisis, the award ceremony took place online on the literatur-online.ch website. (ats / nxp)
