Léon Marchand, who plays for Arizona State University, clocked the second fastest time in history over 400 yards medley on Friday in the United States.
Léon Marchand (19) is a member of the Arizona State Sun Devils American university team. Friday, during the Pac 12 Conference Championships (one of the most important divisions of the US University Championship), the young Frenchman shone. On the 400 yards medley, he won in 3’34”45.
This is a record for the Pac 12 and its Championships, but this time is also the second all-time, behind the 3’33”42 achieved by the American Chase Kalisz in 2017 in Indianapolis.
