Gevelsberg: The swimming pool – like many other closed facilities and businesses – has suffered considerable losses due to the corona pandemic. At the end of the year, it is expected to be missing EUR 550,000 more than previously assumed. That makes a total of over 1.3 million. Since the beginning of December, the operating company is also no longer able to pay outstanding invoices. The Council has now unanimously released more money. This should cover the pandemic-related failures and make swimming in liquid again.
