The National Aquatic Center (CAN) encourages you to sign up for classes before the start of the high season, which begins in November.
The National Aquatic Center (CAN), under the accompaniment of professionals from Pacífico Club, has swimming classes for beginners and adults at various times throughout the year. The CAN was one of the most important venues in the competitions of the ASU2022 South American Games and the South American School Games, where after a remodeling of the facilities a very prominent stage was obtained for aquatic sports disciplines.
“Knowing about swimming is important to avoid the risk of drowning and to have the peace of mind that children can enjoy themselves in pools, rivers and seas. Swimming uses most muscle groups and is a demanding physical exercise that helps keep your heart and lungs healthy. Swimming also helps keep the joints flexible, especially the neck, shoulders and pelvis,” says the Pacific Club instructor, Liz Karina Prieto.
Pacífico Club offers swimming classes for beginners and advanced students at the CAN pool at times ranging from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For beginners, Classes begin with floating and breathing, and then advance with specific techniques.
