Sweltering weekend with a chance of heavy thunderstorms

After a number of fairly sunny and dry days, a number of heavy (thunder) showers are on the program this weekend. Due to the high humidity it is oppressively warm with 23-26 degrees.

This Friday it is still quiet summer weather with some sunshine here and there. The temperature rises to about twenty degrees and there is a weak to moderate wind from the northeast, according to Weatheronline.

That all changes on Saturday. The first day of the weekend will start dry in many places, but it will soon become cloudy from the south and showers will follow. These showers can be fierce in the afternoon with a chance of thunder and hail. It does not get cold with maximums of 24 to 25 degrees. It is, however, very humid, which makes it feel sweltering hot.

We also have a chance of rain and thunderstorms on Sunday. At the beginning of the day the sun will shine regularly, but during the day the chance of showers increases again. Thunderstorms are possible during the showers and it can sometimes come out of the sky with buckets. Also on Sunday the temperature hovers around 24 degrees, but due to the humidity it still feels muggy.

After the weekend it will remain changeable summer weather, with a daily chance of a shower. The sun also shines regularly between the showers. With a temperature of 20 to 25 degrees, that is quite normal for the time of year, according to the meteorologists.
