This Friday, August 12, the “365” concert will take place in the Dzintari concert hall, in which the Riga Dome boys’ choir, soloists Paula Saija, Mārtiņš Kanters and Evelīna Krama, as well as the group “Saldās sejas” will take the stage and perform songs with lyrics by Guntar Račas. The latter have prepared a surprise for this event.
The group “Saldās sejas” has prepared a new program for Guntar Račas’s original concert “365”, which consists of arrangements of songs by Raimonds Paul and Guntar Račas. These songs were written for the children’s pop group “Dzeguzīte” in the mid-1990s and were once very popular. A new generation has come, the “cuckoo boys” of that time are now big artists themselves, but these songs have been given a new chance in the already easy rocking versions of adult performers. As the first of this series, the song “Lācis” was published a couple of years ago, which has already become one of the hits of “Saldās sejas”, but now it’s the turn of the song “Dulla diena”. It was recorded in “Factory Sounds studio” in cooperation with producer Gintas Stankevičas.
