The Swedish TV profiles Maritta Söderström (79) and Gunnel Hyvönen (77) captured the hearts of both the Swedish and Norwegian people in the Kanal 5 series “Ullared”. The series was about those who worked and those who shopped at the huge department store Gekås Ullared in Sweden.

Sisters Söderström and Hyvönen starred in “Ullared” as some of the department store’s regular customers, and quickly became favorites among TV viewers. Now the series is over, and against Sweden Happened can Söderström tell how the sisters’ relationship is today.

According to the website, 77-year-old Hyvönen has struggled with his health in the past, and Söderström now says that it seems to be getting better. In the same breath, she says that they no longer have any particular contact.
– I think it’s going well, it’s been a while since I’ve spoken to her. It was over two months ago, says the 79-year-old and continues:
– Maybe a ring on the finger
– I’m not doing so well (with health, editor’s note) either. It was a man who called me, he had talked to her and then she was fine.
When asked why they are not in contact, the eldest sister is tight-lipped.

Shall not meet
Furthermore, Söderström says that she is not entirely sure of the reason why she and her sister are not in contact, but says that neither of them make contact with each other.

She also reveals that they have no plans to meet in the near future, and explains that it is because it is too expensive to travel. She also doesn’t think her sister can bear to make the trip to her.
Hyvönen has not commented on her sister’s statements.
