Swedish Princess Sofia has completed a three-day medical course and could therefore work as support staff in a Swedish hospital, reports the local news medium Mitt i Östermalm Wednesday. The princess would go to work in Sophiahemmet in Stockholm, of which she is also honorary president.
Princess Sofia is said to have taken the digital course at Sophiahemmet University College. She is one of many who are retrained because of the corona crisis to relieve the regular care staff.
Staff of the Swedish airline SAS also use the retraining option. SAS was forced to lay off about 10,000 workers in Sweden, Norway and Denmark due to the corona crisis.
Sofia Hellqvist, now 35, married Prince Carl Philip in 2015, with whom she has two sons.
