“I think we live in a time when we need to stay calm and think about what is best for Sweden’s long-term interests,” the Swedish prime minister explained.
Earlier in the day, Agence France-Presse, citing local law enforcement agencies, reported that Swedish police had allowed a protest and burning of the Qur’an in front of Stockholm’s main mosque on the first day of the Eid al-Adha holiday.
