Before the Vocational European Championship, we drew attention to the event and now the results have arrived. After tonight’s closing ceremony at Polstat Plus Arena, it is clear that the Swedish Professional National Team will go home with eight medals – one gold, one silver, two bronze and four Medallions for Excellence. Waitress Evelina Fäldt won the gold medal and can thus claim the title of European champion in serving. Evelina also won the “Best of Nation” award as she had the highest score of all the Swedish contestants. The silver went to chef Love Dahl, and the two bronze medals went to truck mechanic Emil Didriksson and the competing couple in entrepreneurship, Lisa Viklund and Emilia Friberg.

Medallion for Excellence is an award given to the contestants who have demonstrated exceptionally high quality in their professional practice and managed to collect high scores (700 or above) in the respective professional category. The Medallion for Excellence was won by hairdresser Jasmin Aslan, skin therapist Disa Lynard, industrial electrician Simon Pettersson and Maria Tsychkova who competed in the CNC operator milling category.
